Sharm El-Sheikh: Underwater Scooter Coral Reef Experience

The underwater sea scooter brings the thrill of powered underwater propulsion to anyone regardless of diving experience, making it one of the most popular and accessible water activities in Sharm El-Sheikh. Different from the Seabob in design, the sea scooter is ridden with both hands on the handles while you remain at snorkel depth (1-2 metres), gliding effortlessly along the reef surface and following the guide as the coral formations pass beneath and around you. The device is buoyancy-neutral, meaning it neither sinks nor floats, and the throttle speed allows you to travel at a pace that gives you proper time to observe the fish and coral without tiring yourself. This 90-minute session begins with a 15-minute familiarisation on the device in the shallows before the main reef tour begins. The guide selects a route through the most colourful sections of the reef, with stops at highlight points — a resident turtle spot, a cleaning station busy with small fish removing parasites from larger ones, a coral garden of exceptional density. All snorkeling and safety equipment is provided alongside the scooter. Maximum 6 guests ensures everyone has their space and the guide can manage the group safely.
