1. Booking & Confirmation
A booking request submitted through EgyptVia's website, WhatsApp channel, or any other channel constitutes an offer to purchase a tour. We will confirm your booking within 2 hours of receiving your request during our operating hours (8:00–22:00 Egypt time). Upon confirmation, your spot on the tour is held for 24 hours. If we do not receive a response from you within this period, the reservation may be released to other guests. You will receive a written confirmation — via email or WhatsApp — that serves as your booking record. Please review it carefully and contact us immediately if any details are incorrect.
2. Payment
EgyptVia operates on a pay-on-arrival basis. No online payment or deposit is required to secure your booking. Payment is collected in cash on the day of the tour, before departure. We accept US Dollars (USD), Euros (EUR), and Egyptian Pounds (EGP). The exact amount in local currency will be quoted at the prevailing exchange rate at the time of the tour. We do not accept credit cards or digital payment methods at this time. Please ensure you have sufficient cash available before the tour departure.
3. Cancellation Policy
We understand that plans change. If you need to cancel your booking, you may do so free of charge up to 24 hours before your scheduled tour start time. Cancellations received with less than 24 hours' notice are subject to a 50% cancellation fee of the total tour price, as this point we are unable to fill your spot and our guides and vehicles are already committed. No-shows on the day of the tour without prior notice will be charged the full tour price. All cancellations must be communicated directly to our team via WhatsApp or email.
4. What's Included
Each tour listing on egyptvia.com clearly specifies what is included in the stated price. Unless explicitly stated otherwise, all tours include a licensed English-speaking guide and hotel pick-up and drop-off transfers within the Sharm El Sheikh resort area (Naama Bay, Nabq, Sharks Bay, Hadaba, and Ras Nasrani). Entrance fees, equipment hire, meals, and gratuities are included only where stated in the individual tour description. EgyptVia reserves the right to update inclusions at any time; confirmed bookings will honour the inclusions listed at the time of booking.
5. Our Liability
EgyptVia acts as a tour operator and takes all reasonable measures to ensure the safety and quality of our tours. However, we are not liable for events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to: adverse weather conditions (in which case we will issue a full refund or reschedule at your preference), acts of nature, political events, or strikes affecting transportation. In the event of a medical emergency during a tour, our guides are trained in first aid and will arrange appropriate assistance; however, EgyptVia cannot be held liable for the cost of medical treatment, evacuation, or any resulting financial loss. We strongly recommend that all guests obtain comprehensive travel insurance before travel, including emergency medical and evacuation cover.
6. Age & Health Requirements
Some tours offered by EgyptVia have minimum age requirements or health and fitness prerequisites, which are clearly stated on the individual tour listing page. It is your responsibility to ensure you and all members of your party meet these requirements before booking. EgyptVia reserves the right to refuse participation to any guest who does not meet the stated requirements or who, in the reasonable judgment of our guides, poses a safety risk to themselves or others. No refund will be issued in such circumstances if the relevant requirements were clearly communicated at the time of booking.
7. Photography
EgyptVia guides or representatives may photograph and film tours for marketing and promotional purposes, including use on our website, social media channels, and advertising materials. By participating in a tour, you grant EgyptVia a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use any photographs or footage in which you appear for these purposes. If you prefer not to be photographed, please inform your guide at the start of the tour and we will respect your preference throughout the day.
8. Governing Law
These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Sharm El Sheikh, South Sinai Governorate, Egypt. If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
