The Red Sea is one of the world's most prolific fishing grounds, and the coastal waters around Sharm El Sheikh yield an extraordinary variety of seafood that rarely travels more than a few hours from sea to plate. This private beach dinner experience celebrates the very best of Red Sea cuisine in the most romantic setting imaginable: a reserved table on the sand at the water's edge, lit by lanterns and candles as the evening sea breeze ripples the surface and the first stars appear above the mountains of Saudi Arabia across the water. The evening begins with an arrival welcome of fresh lemon and ginger juice, followed by a selection of cold mezze including tahini, hummus, stuffed vine leaves, baba ganoush, and fresh salads dressed with Egyptian citrus. The seafood centrepiece of the evening is a theatrical presentation of the catch of the day — typically a whole fresh Red Sea snapper, grouper, or sea bass, and a generous selection of tiger prawns and calamari — all grilled over charcoal to order and presented at the table with a choice of spiced rice, fattoush, and grilled vegetables. The dessert selection draws on Egypt's rich sweet tradition, offering kunafa with ashta cream, basbousa with rosewater syrup, and seasonal fresh fruit. Soft drinks, freshly squeezed juices, and Egyptian mint tea are included throughout. The experience is available for private dining for two up to private group celebrations for twenty, and can be arranged with a live Oud player or traditional Egyptian music accompaniment upon request.
