Sharm El-Sheikh: Jerusalem & Bethlehem Day Trip via Border Crossing

One of the most extraordinary day trips available from any Red Sea resort, this remarkable journey takes you from the beaches of Sharm El-Sheikh to the ancient winding streets of Jerusalem and the biblical town of Bethlehem in a single unforgettable day. Departing before dawn, your group travels by private coach to the Taba border crossing where your guide handles all the paperwork, border formalities and visa arrangements to minimise waiting time. Once across the border, a comfortable air-conditioned vehicle transports you through the Negev desert and up into the Judean Hills towards Jerusalem. In the Old City, your licensed guide leads a carefully curated walking tour through all four historic quarters. You will walk the Via Dolorosa — the route Jesus walked to the crucifixion — and enter the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, one of Christianity's most sacred sites. You will visit the Western Wall, Judaism's holiest accessible site, and gaze across the city from the Mount of Olives with its sweeping panorama of the Dome of the Rock and the al-Aqsa Mosque on Temple Mount. The afternoon takes you to Bethlehem in the Palestinian West Bank, where you enter the Church of the Nativity — built over the traditional birthplace of Jesus and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
