As the sun descends toward the jagged mountain horizon, you and your well-trained horse set out across a landscape that feels entirely timeless — ancient lava fields, shifting dune belts, and rocky outcrops painted amber and rose by the dying light. The horses at our Bedouin ranch are gentle, well-cared-for Arab breeds that respond beautifully to beginner riders yet have enough spirit to satisfy experienced equestrians. Your guide — a third-generation Bedouin horseman who grew up on these same trails — rides alongside, ensuring your safety while sharing fascinating stories about this extraordinary landscape. The route winds past Bedouin settlements, across open desert flats, and up a ridge offering a panoramic view of the Red Sea mountains at dusk. After an hour-long sunset ride, return to the ranch for sweet tea, dates, and the opportunity to interact with the horses, camels, and other animals kept at the stables.
