Sharks Bay is home to one of the most pristine and accessible coral reef systems in all of Sharm El-Sheikh, and this 2-hour glass bottom boat tour explores its most spectacular sections from the unique vantage point of the glass panels beneath the boat's hull. The bay takes its name from the nurse sharks that were historically spotted resting on the sandy shallows, and while sightings are never guaranteed, the resident marine life offers its own spectacular show: giant hawksbill turtles gliding through the coral, Napoleon wrasse displaying their iridescent flanks, schools of golden trevally catching the light, and the incredible architecture of the reef itself — pinnacles, walls, overhangs, and valleys all visible through the crystal-clear water above. After 60 minutes of glass-bottom cruising, the boat anchors in a calm bay and guests who wish to snorkel are provided with equipment and can spend 30 minutes in the water. Non-swimmers may remain on the boat and continue enjoying the view from above. Hot and cold beverages are served throughout. The tour returns to the jetty with guests who almost universally declare it the highlight of their day.
