Sharm El-Sheikh: Advanced Freediving Course — 2 Days

Take your freediving beyond the recreational level with this rigorous and rewarding two-day advanced course, structured to AIDA3 and SSI Level 2 international standards and delivered by certified AIDA instructors who freedive the Red Sea every day. The course begins with a comprehensive classroom theory session covering the physics of depth, the role of the mammalian dive reflex, advanced equalisation techniques, dive tables and planning, and the physiology of shallow water blackout and how to prevent it. Pool sessions develop your static and dynamic apnea before open water training in the crystal-clear Red Sea begins. Over the two days, you progress through controlled depth training dives from 20 to 40 metres using the constant weight or free immersion disciplines, with structured rest intervals, dive buddy protocols, and video analysis of your technique. The instructors work individually with each student to identify and address specific limiting factors — whether in equalisation, buoyancy, relaxation, or breath control. The course concludes with certification dives and upon successful completion, candidates receive internationally recognised AIDA3 or SSI Advanced Freediver certification. Equipment, boats, and all teaching materials are included.
