The Red Sea's coral ecosystems are among the most colourful and diverse in the world, and this specialist snorkelling and photography tour is designed to help you capture their extraordinary beauty in images you will treasure forever. The tour is led by a professional underwater photographer with deep expertise in Red Sea marine life, who provides a pre-snorkel briefing covering the fundamentals of underwater photography — including how to manage natural light in shallow reef environments, compositional techniques for capturing fish and coral together, white balance adjustments for different depths, and how to get close to shy reef inhabitants without disturbing them. The boat departs Sharm El Sheikh marina and travels to two carefully selected snorkel sites known for their photographic potential: typically including Tower Reef for its dramatic coral formations and abundant pelagic fish, and a second site near Ras Umm Sid where the lighting conditions in the morning produce exceptional underwater visibility and colour saturation. The guide enters the water with the group at both sites, demonstrating techniques in real time and pointing out the best subjects — from the vivid yellow of a butterfly fish to the alien geometry of a crown-of-thorns starfish. Participants may bring their own underwater camera or GoPro-style device, and waterproof rental cameras are available for an additional charge. The tour also includes a shore-based editing session where the guide reviews selected images and offers post-processing tips for underwater photos.
