Sharm El-Sheikh: Apnea Training at Dahab Blue Hole

The Blue Hole at Dahab is one of the most iconic and talked-about underwater locations in the world — a perfectly circular sinkhole 100 metres in diameter and over 100 metres deep, connected to the open sea through a submerged archway known as The Arch. This full-day guided apnea training experience transports you from Sharm El-Sheikh to this legendary site, where the combination of deep, gin-clear water and the dramatic geological formation creates an atmosphere that is both awe-inspiring and uniquely challenging for breath-hold diving. Your AIDA-certified guide assesses your current freediving ability before training begins, and all sessions are conducted at depths appropriate to your certification and experience. Typical training dives range from 10 to 40 metres using constant weight discipline on the vertical wall beside the Blue Hole itself. The guide stays in water throughout, monitoring your equalization, relaxation, and safety. Lunch is taken at one of the iconic Dahab seafront restaurants with views directly over the Blue Hole.
