Sharm El-Sheikh: Advanced Scuba Diving at Premium Sites

Designed for certified advanced divers, this full-day expedition takes you to three of the Red Sea's most celebrated dive sites around Sharm El-Sheikh. Begin the day at Gordon Reef, a vast plateau famous for its strong currents, resident barracuda schools and the rusting hull of the Loullia freighter perched dramatically at the reef's edge. Move on to Thomas Reef, a seamount that drops steeply to over 70 metres, festooned with sea fans, black coral and patrolled by grey reef sharks and hammerheads. The afternoon dives centre on the Dunraven wreck, a Victorian-era cargo steamer that sank in 1876 and now rests at depths of 18–28 metres, its hull encrusted with vibrant corals and teeming with glassfish, lion fish and moray eels. All dives are guided by experienced Dive Masters who brief you on currents, entry techniques and points of interest. Equipment can be hired on board or bring your own. A light lunch, refreshments and all boat transfers are included. Minimum qualification: PADI Advanced Open Water or equivalent. Maximum depth 30 metres.
